Via medEmotion LRM, BioVille and Hogeschool PXL are developing an integrated data platform for healthcare. The platform gives access to traditional medical data (from hospitals, GPs, etc.), personal data (from apps, wearables, etc.) and information from the environment and other conceivable databases.
Data in motion
The pioneering project puts the data literally in motion in a safe digital ecosystem. In this system researchers, medical professionals (doctors, nurses, etc.) and entrepreneurs can use the data to test new ideas quickly and efficiently, and as such valorise new ideas. In this eco system, a dynamic user community is formed for co-creation of innovative healthcare applications. This is currently already being done for two specific use cases in the domains of cardiology and MS (multiple sclerosis).
